Yesterday Stampin' Up! announced the release of My Digital Studio to New Zealand and Australia, I'm so excited! You can now have all your favourite stampsets, designer series paper and cardstock, embellishments and punches all in digital format. Create your own e-Cards, photobooks, scrapbook layouts, home decor, party favours, wedding stationery and more, all from your computer or laptop. Print to your own printer, or export a jpg file and send off to your usual print service provider.
I have already downloaded the software programme and have had a wee play with it, and these are the first project I have created. We have been waiting for this day for a long time as it has been so successful in the US, but the good news is, thanks to it being available there for so long already, it means there are loads of online resources to help familiarise ourselves with it.
There is a FREE 30-day trial you can download, or you can purchase the full software for just $27.95 - I can't believe this amazing price!! Check it out here. Also you might like to see this great introductory video to what My Digital Studio (MDS) looks like: Getting to Know MDS. I will let you know a date soon where I will provide some free training on using MDS, but I would like to have a couple of weeks to get to know it inside-out myself before I schedule a date. Keep an eye on my Facebook page and blog for samples and tips and tricks as I learn my way around.
The second lot of great news is that with MDS being mostly digital downloads, it means that we now have Online Ordering available for all Stampin' Up products - I have my own online store!!! Check out www.emilycampbell.stampinup.net for my new website, online shopping 24/7, class schedule and more. You will have the option to add a Hostess Code, for orders placed in the next couple of weeks the hostess code is GNWVS9BS.
And lastly, who wants to do some crafting with me? I have recently been invited as a guest presenter at Koyal Kapilla NZ, which is a boutique NZ Made craft store in Onehunga. We had our first class last night making Easter treat boxes and it was a great success, so we are excited to be going ahead with more classes in the future. Thanks so much to all the ladies that came along last night, I hope you enjoyed yourselves. The next class will be a Mothers Day Card Class, making pretty and feminine cards for our mums, with the option of some alternate sentiments such as birthday or 'just for you' 'friend' etc.
Mothers Day Card Class
Thursday 9th May, 7-10pm (Mothers Day is Sunday 12th May)
Koyal Kapilla NZ
98 Trafalgar St
Onehunga
$20.00 per person, includes 2 handmade cards (everything supplied), wine and nibbles, and a fun night crafting
RSVP to Koyal on 634 0516 or myself on 838 5225, or by email.
We are also looking at doing a Mum and Child class in the School Holidays, the details are still to be confirmed for this class, but please do let me know if this would be of interest to you. Minimum age of 8 years old, and Mum must attend too.
OK, that's all for today, there will be more great things to share with you in April.
