ESAD Seasonal Catalogue Blog Hop

Hooray, its Blog Hop time again!  You have probably arrived here from Narelle's blog, don't you just love that Pinwheel die!

For this project I was given the Artisan Embellishment Kit and the More Amore Designer Specialty Paper (DSP) to showcase. NOT A PROBLEM, these are two of my favourites from this Catalogue.  I have chosen a tri-fold card and a 6x6" square card to show you today.  I love how everything ties together, even though every other element of the cards is different.

The tri-fold card uses a Pink Pirouette card base and the panels are decorated with More Amore DSP. I love the soft romantic feel that the papers give. The scalloped edge heart is also from the More Amore Specialty paper pack, it comes with two sheets of laser-cut hearts, one page each in Real Red and Primrose Petals.

The two lace ribbons, the buttons and the paper doily (cut in half) are all from the Artisan Embellishment Kit. I love love love this kit, I'm so into the vintage styling right now, so this kit really suits my taste, and the contents of the kit go a surprisingly long way.  It is great value for $19.95 too, I have also decorated two or three scrapbook layouts with the Kit, and will be stocking up on a few more packets before the Seasonal Catalogue ends on June 30th.

The Primrose Petals and Pool Party Core'dinations sanded cardstock, the Oh, Hello and That's the Ticket stampsets, and the vanilla fabric flower are all new products from the Seasonal Catalogue as well.

I would be happy to do another post with the dimensions / instructions for the tri-fold card if anyone would like to know how to make one, just leave me a note in the comments.

My second card uses the same More Amore DSP for the little butterflies and the paper flags. This time I have used the reverse side of one of the laser-cut scalloped hearts and sponged it in pool party ink. It is embellished again with the Artisan Embellishment Kit, using the other half of the paper doily, another paper flower, the pool party button and a fabulous strip of vanilla lace. I am so happy that Pool Party is sticking around as a core colour from July!

Some more Seasaonal Catalogue products used here are the Bitty Butterfly Punch, Pool Party embossing powder, the Ovals Collection Framelits and once again some sanded Core-dinations cardstock in Pool Party.

For the main image I have used the Faux Blackboard technique, swiping some Basic Black cardstock with white craft ink, and then stamping with Versamark ink and heat embossing with both White and Pool Party Embossing Powders. The stampsets I used are Artistic Etchings ("Amour" and the Eiffel Tower, from the Annual Catalogue), Established Elegance (the 'swirl' and 'established 1873', also from the Annual Catalogue) and the "Just Because" greeting is from Vintage Verses (Sale-a-bration 2013 item, no longer available).

Your next stop on the Hop is Jane, I hope you enjoy her creations, and thanks so much for stopping by - don't forget to leave me a comment if you liked my projects today!
